Spicy burger was good. Chips were done well. Not a big range of food, but that's not a bad thing. Relaxed atmosphere, okay beer selection. Had some craft beers and regular beers.
Good recently refurbished pub in Newington. Decor is funky and welcoming, choose a booth or a bar stool for a range of beers and lagers or wine and cocktails. Student deals as well as 12 for a beer and burger on Monday. Menu is burgers and pub favourites, looked good. Staff were very welcoming.

The best Philly cheesesteak sandwich and fries with best drinks I’ve ever had in UK. we also got burger that was nice too, but the Philly cheesesteak made me wish to live in Edinburgh
What a gem! We often walk past thinking we should try it -and we finally did and loved it. All thanks to Abby who was really welcoming, warm, absolutely lovely and friendly. Perfect! Looking forward to our next visit, hopefully for food this time
